Even though we have had a busy month, I am so happy to have taken a day to go visit Chica with my husband Tony. I wanted to see her “bump”, her “baby-bump”! I was so pleasantly surprised that when she saw me she came to me running…yes…running. That is unusual for a normally raised cow. She also was not very happy when the other cows came up to check us out…it must be those “pregnancy-hormones”! LOL
As you can see in the video she is doing great and as always I look forward to my next visit with her.
Dairy Goddess Farmstead Cheese had made its second batch. We made my other 3 flavors, “Rosarito” – Mexican Herb and Jalapeno, “Azores” – Roasted Red Pepper and Parsley, and “The Valley” – Peaches, Almonds, and Honey. My second Thursday night Farmers Market in Hanford was a success. I wasn’t expecting it to be, as it was such a hot day but people did come by. I was happy to see some repeat customers from last week.
I also have the “Central Coast” (herbs, spices, and dill) is available at the Hanford Portuguese Bakery on 10th and Grangeville.
I want to again thank everyone for there support! It has been quite a ride so far!
